The Summit will gather adult congenital heart disease [ACHD] patient leaders from around the world in Toronto, Canada, for three days in October. It will provide a forum for ACHD patient leaders to discuss issues to help raise awareness about the problems facing ACHD patients both locally and globally.

The Mission of the ICHC is to empower congenital heart patients and their families to improve and prolong the lives of congenital heart patients throughout the world. Through its collaborating organizations, ICHC works to  promote quality congenital heart care, improve quality of life, increase congenital heart research and education, and raise international awareness about the life-long needs of those born with the world's most common birth defect.
