There are more than 180,000 Canadian children and adults with congenital heart defects who need your help.
The Canadian Congenital Heart Alliance (CCHA) is an organization made up of patients with a congenital heart defect, their friends, families, and the medical community. With your support, we aim to improve the quality of care for these patients, many of whom require lifelong expert care.
The Adult Congenital Heart Association held it's annual patient conference in May in Philadelphia.
First of all, I would like to thank, on behalf of all CHD patients, Dr. Oechslin, Jeanine, Carole, and the entire team at the clinic who have put on this conference for us, the patients, Without their efforts there would be no conference, and without their constant encouragement and guidance CCHA would not be what it is today. We owe them a huge debt of gratitude!
