The deadline for registering for the 2nd annual Beat Retreat is fast approaching. There are still spots available, but we need to receive your application by September 3. Please note that this deadline is one week earlier than we first announced. That’s because the camp where the “camp retreat” is held has asked us to confirm the number of participants by September 3.
The Beat Retreat will be held September 17-19 at beautiful Camp Quin-mo-lac. The goal of the retreat is give adults with congenital heart defects (CHD) an opportunity to benefit from — and enjoy — a true “camp experience”. As a Beat Retreat “camper”, you’ll have an opportunity to enjoy a traditional camp experience (complete with campfires, canoeing, climbing wall, initiatives course, etc. ) — all geared to your physical ability and comfort level, and with plenty of “down time” to re-energerize and socialize. The cost to you is just $50, including accommodation, meals and activities. That’s a real deal for a weekend filled with fun!
