As a person, I always was interested in how I can help people. So it was not a surprise for my family when I became a nurse. In 15 years, not only I never regretted it, but I am enjoying it even more since I joined the select club of Adult Congenital Heart disease at the Montréal General Hospital last year: the MAUDE unit.

Unlike most of you, I do not have heart disease and nobody in my family does. But, as a nurse, I could not let go the opportunity to work with amazing people when Dan Rodrigues with the Heart2Heart Cardiac Camp offered us to open a Quebec chapter of the CCHA. The group of CHD patients I was with could not resist either: we said YES! I see the CCHA as a great opportunity for patients and their family to share their experience and to learn more about their condition and how to stay in the best health possible.
